WARRANTY POLICY

Lifetime Warranty Policy – PinPoint Trackers


Effective Date: 24.01.2025


At PinPoint Trackers, we are committed to providing high-quality tracking devices that meet your needs. We offer a lifetime warranty on all our trackers, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. This warranty is provided in compliance with UK consumer law and your statutory rights remain unaffected.
 
Scope of the Warranty
1.    What Is Covered:
o    This warranty covers any manufacturing defects or faults in the PinPoint tracker. If your device is found to be faulty due to manufacturing issues, we will replace it free of charge.
2.    What Is Not Covered:
o    Faulty Installation: If the tracker has been damaged due to incorrect installation or use outside the intended guidelines, the warranty will not apply.
o    Reinstallation: The warranty is valid only if the tracker remains in the original vehicle in which it was installed. We do not cover trackers that have been uninstalled and moved to a different vehicle or location.
o    Subscription Services: The Track Manager software subscription is provided by a third-party provider and is not covered under this warranty. For any issues with the subscription, please refer to Track Manager’s terms and support channels.
3.    Other Exclusions:
o    Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized repairs.
o    Normal wear and tear.
o    Any damage caused by external factors, including environmental conditions, such as water or extreme temperatures, if the tracker is not designed to withstand them.
 
Warranty Claims
1.    How to Make a Claim:
o    If you believe your tracker is faulty and eligible for replacement under this warranty, please contact us at support@pinpointtrackers.com.
o    Provide proof of purchase, the serial number of your device, and a description of the issue.
2.    Inspection Process:
o    Upon receiving your warranty claim, we may request that you return the device for inspection.
o    If the device is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, we will provide a replacement free of charge.
3.    Shipping Costs:
o    If a replacement is required, we will cover the shipping costs for sending the replacement device to you.
o    You are responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the faulty device for inspection.
 
Limitations of Liability
1.    PinPoint Trackers is not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our devices, except as required by UK law.
2.    This warranty is limited to the replacement of the tracker and does not cover any other costs, including installation or removal fees.
 
Duration of Warranty
•    The lifetime warranty remains valid for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle in which the tracker was initially installed.
•    Transferring the tracker to another vehicle or owner voids the warranty.
 
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your product is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under UK consumer law.
